I was flipping through the channels earlier today and stopped on Discovery Health (or "The Icky Channel") for a moment. There was a show on about premature babies and one of them had been named Jor-El.

I don't know if that's how it was spelled, but that's what it sounded like. I even stuck around for a few minutes to make sure I had heard right. Yup...Jor-El. Father of Superman. He's pretty much destined to have a son named Kal-El.
