You're at a point in your life where you're like a shark: keep swimming or die. Or a bicycle: keep pedalling or tip over. I'm a shark on bicycle.
When stupid shit in life starts getting you down, you can't go anywhere to decompress, usually because you can't afford it. Mainly it's because you have to keep searching and waiting. You have be ready to be up and perky at a moments notice so you can try and hoodwink some sap into hiring you. You can't just leave a message on your answering machine that says, "Hey, I'm off fishing this week! Leave a message and I'll get back to you on Monday!"
HR people just wouldn't understand. Geez, what is their problem anyway? Fuckin' slave drivers.
