As I was driving around the other day, I noticed a car with the license plate TALOS 4. Being the geek I am, I immediately recognized this semi-obscure Star Trek reference and thought, "Man, are YOU a geek." Upon further reflection, I wonder who exactly was the bigger geek: this guy for putting it on his plate or me for recognizing it?4/7/2004 3:06 PM
I posed this question to The Most Powerful Milwaukeean, who agreed that this other fellow was the bigger geek. While we both knew the significance of TALOS 4, he went that extra step (and extra expense) to broadcast it on his car.
