I got around to seeing The Two Towers in it's entirety a couple days after the original aborted attempt. I have to say, I was a little dismayed at some of the baffling changes they made. Most of the changes in this one and Fellowship of the Ring I have no problem with; they were necessary to tighten the story and make it more cinematic. (Thank GOD they did away with Tom Bombadil.) A couple changes were just pointless.

Can someone please tell me why Frodo and Sam were taken to Gondor? Faramir is the complete opposite of the character in the book. During this part of the movie, I just sat there going, "What...? Why...? What...?" And when did Elrond become the disapproving father who became a wedge between Aragorn and Arwen? Bah, I say.

I do have to admit, however, they're still very well done movies. Take that Bakshi, you fucking hack.
