I got around to seeing The Two Towers in it's entirety a couple days after the original aborted attempt. I have to say, I was a little dismayed at some of the baffling changes they made. Most of the changes in this one and Fellowship of the Ring I have no problem with; they were necessary to tighten the story and make it more cinematic. (Thank GOD they did away with Tom Bombadil.) A couple changes were just pointless.1/21/2003 4:32 PM
Can someone please tell me why Frodo and Sam were taken to Gondor? Faramir is the complete opposite of the character in the book. During this part of the movie, I just sat there going, "What...? Why...? What...?" And when did Elrond become the disapproving father who became a wedge between Aragorn and Arwen? Bah, I say.
I do have to admit, however, they're still very well done movies. Take that Bakshi, you fucking hack.
